At various stages in Heilkunst treatment, it can be therapeutically beneficial to discern a client’s constitutional tendencies. Does that individual tend to be cool or warm? Slow starting and dedicated or fast and furious? Intellectually oriented or more emotionally inclined?
The exercise of identifying an individual’s dominant constitution is ultimately valuable because it allows the practitioner to recognize his or her health. In a state of health, does this individual prefer solitude or company? In a state of health, does this person feel thirst or have to be reminded to drink water?
