Born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Linda always had a passion for health and wellness. She completed a B.Sc in Psychology at MUN before heading out west and completing a B. Ed from the University of Calgary as well as a professional certificate program in Addiction Studies from Mount Royal College. During the next 20 years Linda lived and worked on several First Nations’ reserves and as well worked in the area of Corrections though Alberta Vocational College. Through these alternative work experiences, she had the opportunity to explore various roles and interests while assisting people with many of life’s issues and challenges.
In 2001, Linda returned to the island and completed a M. Ed in Counselling Psychology. For the next 12 years she worked as either a Guidance Counsellor (Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association) and as an Educational Psychologist, Linda is excited to be a member of the holistic health practitioners at Dynamis Health Centre.
